Silvia was born in Florence, but she spent most of her life abroad. She lived in the Middle East and, later on, in California where graduated from high school.
After her Master’s Degree in Foreign Languages and Modern Literature, she started working in communications for an international holding company based in Florence. At the same time, she developed a passion for Florence’s deep cultural heritage.
The newly acquired appreciation for Florence’s history and arts led Silvia to become a licensed tour guide in Florence and Tuscany.
She is particularly keen on showing her clients galleries, artisans and local food places in order to provide, as she says, “an adventure to places that reveal an authentic and local experience”.
