Ottavia has been a licensed private tour guide since the spring of 2019, focusing on experiences designed for discerning travelers. She holds a Master’s degree in Art History, with a specialization in conservation, and wrote her thesis on Diagnostic Investigations of Agnolo Gaddi’s Frescoes, The Legend of the True Cross, in the Basilica of Santa Croce in Florence. She further refined her expertise by completing a postgraduate Master’s program in the conservation of ancient frescoes.

She is fluent in Italian and English and lived in London for fifteen years, where she worked with two of the world’s most prestigious institutions: the Victoria and Albert Museum and the British Museum. She has recently obtained British citizenship, further reflecting her strong international background and cross-cultural experience.

Her greatest passion is the Renaissance in all its facets—from artistic techniques and materials to historical context and cultural legacy—an expertise she brings to life through insightful, engaging, and highly personalized tours.

Outside her professional work, she enjoys sports and outdoor activities, values that naturally influence her dynamic and thoughtful approach to guiding.
