Francesco is a passionate lover of art, history and literature.
He has an MA in Literature and Modern Languages and a PhD in Arts and Humanities from the University of Florence.
Francesco studied in the U.S. at Berkeley University and in the U.K at the London Royal Holloway College, where he was granted a postgraduate scholarship. In London, he worked on National TV (Channel Four) as a production runner.
He has been a tour guide in Florence since 2015 and he is currently managing Walks Inside Florence. As an independent researcher, he has published articles on Anglo-American Grand Tourists in Florence and Tuscany, modern British, Australian and American fiction.
He’s fond of off-the-beaten track tours and he specializes in LGBTQ+ tours, feminist history and new perspectives on art and culture. He says, “If you can dream it, you can do it”.
