Alessandra Pigatto
Licensed tour guide and tour leader. Art historian.
Originally from Venice, Alessandra travelled extensively before settling in Florence. She lived and worked in Ireland, Egypt, Brazil and Spain and she can speak Spanish, Portuguese and English fluently. She has an MA in Art History.
In 2013, she moved to Florence and specialized as a tour guide, which is currently her full-time job.
Alessandra gives private tours both in Florence and the Tuscan countryside, especially Siena, San Gimignano and Chianti. As well as Florence's most celebrated museums, she likes less widely known areas, such as the Oltrarno district and its small artisanal workshops.
She says, "I really enjoy working with people and I like to talk about everything from art to food and culture. Having fun is what makes a tour memorable!".
